At the Learning Partners Child Center, we strive to reassure parents about their child's care while away from home. We offer a nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
Play-based and hands-on learning experiences are the core of our day care philosophy, designed to develop a child's creativity and self-esteem. We introduce children to activities that respond to their emerging interests and natural curiosity. Children are encouraged to explore, experiment and engage in their environment.
Parent involvement is essential to the success of our program. Care and education are fostered through understanding and respect for the child and the family. Parents are encouraged to share their expertise in our classroom, and offer children exciting new experiences while recognizing that "play is a child's work."
We work closely with the Human Services students who participate in our program and offer a great deal of personal attention to our children, while they gain practical experience. Students interact with children and staff and are under the close guidance and supervision of Learning Partners' staff.
Communication is essential. We maintain a parent information board, daily communication at arrival and departure times, and we publish monthly newsletters to keep parents informed about their child's activities and progress.
