COLLEGE TOURS
Students visit college and university campuses throughout the year, through summer tech camps and various programs.

JOB SHADOWING
Students have an opportunity to "shadow" a professional in a wide array of careers, including any careers of their interest.

TEACHER AND STUDENT INTERNSHIPS
Teachers work in the workplace during the summer for six weeks to learn what skills they need to teach their students in the classroom and to develop relationships with professionals in the community.

MENTORING PROGRAMS
We currently support three different mentoring programs, providing opportunities for students to meet with adult mentors, showing students that their community cares about them and their future. Adults make a positive impact in a child's life and prepare them to participate in the workforce of the 21st century.

SUMMER TECH CAMPS
These camps combine summer fun and learning actiivites, allowing students to interact with their peers, and to use state of the art equipment at the Dean Center for enhanced learning.
