What Programs Do The Vermont State Colleges Offer At The Dean Center?

COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF VERMONT
Students may earn an associate's degree in one of dozens of fields through the Community College of Vermont. CCV recently began a two-year degree in network administration, which teaches students how to design, build and maintain local and wide area computer networks. The program is built around the Cisco Certified Networking program and represents a strong collaboration with eight of Vermont's area technical centers.

JOHNSON STATE EXTERNAL DEGREE PROGRAM
Students with at least 60 college credits may earn a bachelor's degree through Johnson State College's External Degree Program. EDP has served students in the Springfield area since 1977 and hopes to attract more over the coming years. Through EDP, students work with an advisor at the CCV site and earn credits through a range of weekend, weekday and online courses from Johnson State College, CCV and other institutions, and occasionally through independent study.

VERMONT TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Vermont Technical College is delivering a variety of workforce education and training programs through the Howard Dean Education Center. Local employees can boost their professional skills through job training programs, and local employers can benefit from customized training programs for employees.

VERMONT INTERACTIVE TELEVISION
VTC also oversees the Vermont Interactive Television (VIT) site located at the Dean Center. VIT gives employers and community groups the technology that lets them communicate via interactive television with others from around the state and around the world.
